Rotary Meeting and Outing, image of logo for Scramble for ScholarshipsThe regularly scheduled, September 12th, Rotary Meeting of the East Lansing Rotary Club will be happening at Timber Ridge Golf Course.  There will be an abbreviated business meeting and lunch, followed immediately by the annual Scramble for Scholarships Golf Outing.  This is a fund-raiser dedicated to creating scholarships for some deserving East Lansing High School graduating seniors. The 2015-16 scholarship recipients each received $2,000. The scholarships went to: Katelyn Meyer who will be attending University of Michigan to study Biochemistry; Evan Przybylski who is attending Michigan State University to study Mechanical Engineering; and Madelyn Zink also attending Michigan State University to study Secondary Education.

The Scramble for Scholarships is a four-person scramble. The cost is $100 per golfer. To register for a single spot or a foursome, call Timber Ridge at 517-339-8000. Or, send names and checks for golf to:  East Lansing Rotary Foundation/2016 Scramble for Scholarships, P.O. Box 4205, East Lansing, MI 48826.

This year we have a Big-Hole-In-One Prize, sponsored by H&H Mobil. The winning prize is a Trip for Two to the 2017 Masters.  There are other prizes planned for the enjoyment of all participating golfers.
