Vocational Service

This service area encourages Rotarians to serve others through their vocations and to practice high ethical standards.

Student Excellence Award:

Through a set of criteria and recommendations from school counselors, the Committee chooses 2 to 3 East Lansing High School students for an annual Student Excellence Award. Scholarships are typically $250 each.

Vocational Excellence Award:

Through a set of criteria and recommendations from Club members, the Committee typically chooses 2-3 recipients annually.

Club sponsors visits to local establishments to learn about the services and techniques used in community service.
