Committees

Rotary Committee Summary

There are several opportunities to be involved in a Rotary Club. To summarize the opportunities we begin with:

Club Service

These are the committees that keep the Club functioning effectively.  Board of Directors, Assistant Treasurer, Attendance Reporter, District, National, and International Committee assignments,  Membership Committee, Program Committee, Public Relations/Webmaster, and Sergeant-at-Arms.

Community Service

This committee focuses on the Club projects and activities to improve life in its community. There are several service projects or on-going initiatives which have their own sub-committee which reports back to the Community Service Committee

International Service

The committees in this area of service encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world understanding and peace.

New Generations Service

The committees in this area recognizes the positive change implemented by youth and young adults in leadership development activities, service projects, and exchange programs.

Vocational Service

Committee activities under this category encourage Rotarians to serve others through their vocations and to practice high ethical standards.
