Humphrey Fellow Elyin Loaisiga from Nicaragua

Come join us on TUESDAY, October 10, 2023 at 12 Noon as we hear from Humphrey Fellow Elyin Loaisiga from Nicaragua.

Elyin Loaisiga Alcocer is the Strategy and Project Manager for Convoy of Hope in Nicaragua, where he manages the implementation of sustainable projects in underdeveloped communities and develops public-private partnerships.  In this role, he supports the strategic implementation of humanitarian assistance programs in the areas of agriculture, technological entrepreneurship, and feeding initiatives for children suffering from malnutrition.  His Humphrey Fellowship goals include learning about innovation processes applied to economic development ventures, using digital tools for business decision making and organizational change processes, as well as strengthening his skills in strategic leadership and community engagement projects. His ultimate goal is to develop new initiatives and apply both technical innovation and reengineering processes to his organization’s social program implementations.

This meeting will be in person at the UClub. The menu will include Flank Steak and sides, and Carrot Cake for dessert!
