Jack Brown, Wilson Talent Center

January 14 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Come join us on Monday, January 14 as we hear from Jack Brown, of the Wilson Talent Center.
Jack Brown has been with Ingham ISD as the Associate Principal of the Wilson Talent Center (formerly Capital Area Career Center) since 1999. Prior to Ingham ISD, Jack taught middle school science, high school chemistry, coached and served two districts as Middle School Principal.

The Wilson Talent Center (WTC) offers Career & Technical Education programming for high school juniors and seniors. Offering more than 18 programs in 12 career clusters, students have the opportunity to earn high school academic credit, free college credit and either state or national certifications. WTC is preparing students for their life beyond high school. Nearly 80% of our students continue their education after leaving high school either though apprenticeships, advanced training or two or four-year college degrees. Partnering with more than 17 colleges and universities, students can earn either articulated college credit or direct college credit.

The Wilson Talent Center also prides itself on that it works with a variety of business leaders either through Advisory Board participation or Work-Based Learning opportunities for our students. These partnerships are vital to the education of our students.

All are welcome to attend the East Lansing Rotary Club Meeting. Meals are $18 for visiting Rotarians and Guests. If you need a special meal, please contact Rotary6360@gmail.com or 517-604-6360.
