Meets monthly and as needed to guide the overall operations of the club.

District, National, International Committees

These committees or assignments help members of the East Lansing Rotary Club interact and contribute to the larger Rotary organization.

Membership

The membership committee is charged with helping the club attract, induct and orient new members and retain current members.  The membership committee may also serve as a conflict resolution group to help work out any issues related to membership or members.

Program

The program committee is responsible for finding and engaging appropriate speakers for our weekly meetings.  Responsibilities include communicating and confirming presentation needs, and following up after speakers present.

Public Relations/Web/Social Media

This committee has access to the clubs various communication channels and keeps them updated.  The committee will also assist with traditional public relations activities which warrant a broader awareness in the media.

Social Events

As the club grows and welcomes in new members it is important to find opportunities to bring the membership closer together.  Occasional social events provide the opportunity to get better acquainted.
